a_perfect_end: hate the beach, but I'll stand (smug)
With his mate bent above Frank, Clu was treated to the ripple of his code-brother's back, to the smooth bunch and curl of his shoulders where he worked in Frank, whose lifted knees almost framed alpha's hips, falling wider as he splayed them apart. They settled together into a rhythm. Frank's hips curved and bucked to a tempo Clu's mate set, steadier and less demanding than had driven Frank before, if no less desperate. The tormented murmuring of earlier fell gradually away to deep, heaving breaths as he chased alpha's hand.

Those long, lean legs began to shiver. His mate didn't stop, didn't even slow down.

And the way their scents began to merge--the constant sticky sugar burn overlaying primal salt and ozone and the rich tang of skin, dulling the nail polish bite of mixed omega fear and worry, drowned in alpha certainty beside the warm earth and bread smell he knew as himself. All that was going straight to Clu's head, pulling them all closer together, deep as gravity.

Frank jerked to attention and arched on the couch with a cry.

There was no way that would be enough for him. Not nearly enough; not by half. But it was a good start, Frank riding high with his mate, and much more relaxed now that an alpha had him.

He'd seemed very frightened of that. Clu had clocked that, even down under the sweet, sticky gauze that made everything just fine, man. He'd watched for it even as he wriggled out of his gear and clothes, one eye peeled should Frank bolt or startle.

In the sheer volume of mutual chemicals they were all starting to waft, that. Could have gone quite differently.

But Frank was enthralled, legs still twitching as alpha helped him get the shirt off, as they leaned together and eased Frank backward against the couch.

Frank, who was stirring gently, now that they were less entangled.

"I'm here," softly, because Frank was rolling, head doing the right-and-left even in serene fulfillment, seeking either familiarity or simply more. Or both.

He'd been through something like it, that first time. Full of cold medical fact and ignorant entirely of how it was. Of how it felt to be gripped by a force of nature directly in his physical and sexual core, to simply melt away into something else. Something all the world told them was less--even as that world grabbed hungrily for all it could take.

Clu knew how to help him. Clu took a big, deep breath, and purred hot and steady as he sat down, deliberate. He pressed their hips together, side-by-side.

"Here I am, angel." Looped his arm, gentle and firm, clinched across Frank's waist. "I'm not going anywhere."

And with one burly shove he dragged the other omega tight into his lap, leveling an enormous grin up at his alpha.

The game was very much on.
